by Bill Good Marketing on July 20, 2011

Bill Good Marketing™ is extremely pleased to announce that Thomas V. Christopher has been selected as the winner of the first APEX Award for Excellence in Web Presence.

Advisor
Presence
Excellence

Other awards will follow throughout the year.

We believe that by recognizing outstanding achievement and promoting it far and wide we can encourage more financial advisors to take the time to look better online.

Tom is Branch Manager and founder of Christopher Financial Group LLC, an independent company in a Conshohocken, PA. Securities offered through Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. Member FINRA/SIPC.

From a review of his website, LinkedIn Profile, Facebook Profile and Twitter, it is obvious he put a great deal of time and thought into the way he looks online. Because of his multiple sites, he is easily found on Google. Therefore he meets the two criteria for the APEX Award: Be Found. Look Good.

If an advisor cannot easily be found on the search engines, he or she might as well tell clients, “No, I don’t have business cards. I rarely see people. Why spend the money?” If the FA can be found but does not look good, that is just like saying, “No, don’t worry about the junk cars in front of my office. Only a couple of them are mine.”

Christopher Financial Group. This is a static webpage just like everyone gets through their broker/dealer.

Tom’s LinkedIn Profile. Tom has one of the most robust profiles I’ve seen. I especially like the way he has posted a posted a slide show to SlideShare and then linked that to his profile. Very compelling.

Tom’s Facebook page. This page shows Tom as a good citizen, family man, someone involved in life in his community.
